University of Energy gets new Vice-Chancellor

It is announced for the information of the University Community and the General Public that the Council of the University, at its 4th Special Meeting held on Friday, 22nd April, 2016 appointed PROFESSOR HARRISON KWAME DAPAAH as the Vice-Chancellor for the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, for a term of four years. The appointment takes effect from 1st August, 2016.

Professor Dapaah holds a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture (crop science) from the University of Ghana; Master of Philosophy (crop science) from University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and a Ph.D in Agronomy from Lincoln University, New Zealand. He has considerable experience in management, research and development, and has published extensively, having over 50 refereed journals to his credit.

Until his appointment, Prof. Dapaah was the Principal of the College of Agriculture, University of Education, Winneba.
