A project, The Code Project Kumasi, aimed at giving professionals in all fields the opportunity to learn programming and coding skills has been launched in Kumasi by the Python In Africa Group.

At the launch at HapaSpace in Kumasi on 16th September 2017, Dominic Sepenu, a co-founder of The Code Project Kumasi stressed on the need for job applicants to have skills in programming as an advantage in this modern world of IT.

“In a few years to come, graduates will need more than the core knowledge of their fields of study to fit in their professions. Skills in programming and coding is increasingly becoming a requirement in modern practices,” he said.
