A lecturer of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi has set a strange record on campus for using cane to whip university students.
In a video that was sent to myJCR.com by an anonymous student, Dr. Victor was seen caning students who were in a queue in front of first-year Statistics class of the Faculty of Agriculture at the CCB Auditorium on Thursday, March 3, 2016.
Further investigations by myJCR.com revealed that the offense of the students was their refusal to bring required course materials to class and that was the lecturer’s own humorous way of dealing with the students…it wasn’t actually a punishment according to some students . “It’s something he does for us to laugh. It’s not like he was punishing us with the cane. When you observe the video, you can even see some of the students in the queue laughing”, a member of the class told myJCR.com.
