Various shops and properties were destroyed Saturday evening when a heavy rainstorm swept through the old Wa Campus of the University for Development Studies.
No injuries were recorded but the storm uprooted trees, light poles, and destroyed several shops at the campus. The affected shops were mainlly the wooden structured ones.
One of the trees uprooted by the storm ended up on the mini van for the Assemblies of God Campus Ministry.
