SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR 2012/2013 (UNIVERSITY OF GHANA)
To all my fellow students of University of GHANA, we have had negotiations about the AFUF and RFUF for the 2012/2013 academic year. there were deliberate attempts with all the forcefulness to increase the scheduled fees so high but with strong engagement and good negotiation skills we have reached a reasonable compromise.
School Fees (AFUF) has been increased by 10% with inflationary rate of .2. without increament on SRC dues and dues for radio Univers.
All continuing students should should calculate 10% with .2 inflationary rate to know your fees before it comes out. For example, last year i paid GH427.00 and next year i will pay GH468.00 or GH 478.00(minus 10 cedis for SRC Hostel). Accomodation fees is as follows; the University wanted to charge GH 500.00 for the academic year for traditional halls but with strong engagement and negotiation by the SRC, the charges will GH450.00 with GH225.00 per semester. We also fought for those in Sabah and Akuafo Hall Annexes C and D to pay the same price as those in the traditional halls.
The SRC also tried to maintain the prices at Hilla Limann and the others at GH720.00 for de academic year with GH360.00 per semester. We are still negotiating on the GH720.00 for reduction. African Union Hall (PENTAGON) and United Nations Hall (EVANDY) is still under negotiation but am assuring students that, it will certainly reduce. Thanks so much for Ur attention.
